There is just one month to go until 24 teams and a host of stars descend on France for UEFA EURO 2016, the biggest UEFA European Championship of all time.

The 2016 UEFA European Championship, will be the 15th edition of the UEFA European Championship, the quadrennial international men’s football championship of Europe organized by UEFA. It is scheduled to be held in France from 10 June to 10 July 2016

There will be 24 teams taking part, including holders Spain and three-time winners Germany as well as debutants Albania, Iceland, Northern Ireland, Slovakia and Wales.

The French national team has won each of the last two major tournaments that the country has hosted, winning the European Championship back in 1984 and the World Cup in 1998. As the host nation of this year’s Euro 2016 tournament, France hopes to enjoy success at home once again.
