The Atlanta Falcons reportedly lost some of their safety depth during Monday’s practice. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, J.J. Wilcox suffered a torn ACL and will miss the 2019 campaign. Rapoport noted the Georgia Southern product was expected to be Atlanta’s third safety once the season started. The Falcons signed Wilcox to a one-year deal this offseason after he spent time with the Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets last season.
