The Houston Texans are rewarding outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett with a one-year, $3.75 million extension, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson. The extension will kick in after the 2019 season; as of now, Scarlett is on a $2.25 million restricted free agent tender. The deal will keep Scarlett in Houston through the 2020 season; as he’ll be an unrestricted free agent in 2021 free agency.
