Los Angeles Angels re-sign closer Raisel Iglesias to $58 million deal

Closer Raisel Iglesias agreed to a four-year, $58 million deal Wednesday night to stay with the Los Angeles Angels. He gets $10 million next year and $16 million in each of the following three seasons. Iglesias was outstanding in his first season with the Angels after they got him in a trade with Cincinnati a year ago. Miami Marlins acquire Joey Wendle, send Kameron Misner to Tampa Bay Rays

The Miami Marlins obtained All-Star third baseman Joey Wendle as part of a deal with the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. In return, the Rays got back Kameron Misner, a 23-year-old outfield/third base prospect. Wendle spent the past four seasons with Tampa Bay. He had a career-high 11 home runs to go with 54 RBIs and 73 runs scored in 136 games this past season for the AL East champion Rays.
