Junior welterweight contender Ryan Garcia claimed at Thursday’s news conference that Hall of Fame fighters Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins, his promoters at Golden Boy, are “backing” his adversary, Oscar Duarte, to defeat him Saturday in Houston.
