Timberwolves, center Naz Reid agree on 3-year, $42M deal

Minnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid has agreed on a new three-year, $42 million contract that includes a player option, his agents, Sean Kennedy and Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management, told ESPN on Sunday. The deal keeps Reid out of free agency and secures him to the franchise where he arrived as an undrafted one-and-done player and developed into an indispensable frontline performer. New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge said Saturday he has a torn ligament in his right big toe and is experiencing pain when he walks. The UFC is adding a pivotal bantamweight contest between former champ Henry Cejudo and Marlon “Chito” Vera to its UFC 292 lineup in August, UFC president Dana White told ESPN on Monday. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is declining his $27.6 million player option and will enter unrestricted free agency, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Monday. “We will continue to talk to Golden State and explore all options,” Paul told ESPN. Feliciano Lopez named tournament director for Davis Cup finals

Feliciano Lopez has been appointed tournament director for the Davis Cup finals, the International Tennis Federation said Thursday. Lopez, 41, who won the competition with Spain four times, plans to end his playing career after this year.
