Benavidez (29-0, 24 KOs) moved up to 175 pounds for the first time after his repeated efforts to entice undisputed super middleweight champ Canelo Alvarez into a fight fell short. Tatsuro Taira stays unbeaten with stoppage win over Alex Perez

The undefeated Tatsuro Taira earned the biggest victory of his UFC career with a second-round stoppage of Alex Perez in the main event of UFC on ESPN 58 at the UFC Apex.
