Betting on NFL Playoffs

With the NFL playoffs just two short weeks away, let’s take a look at the teams that have already clinched a playoff berth and are guaranteed at least one game in the playoffs as these are the only teams, heading into Week 16, that we definitely know have a shot to win Super Bowl LI. This is what you need to start betting on NFL playoffs.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS +220

Probably the best team in the league and that +220 line is not likely to change much in the next few weeks. You can still wait for a while unless you need a clever spot to hide some fishy money that you don’t know how to launder and don’t mind losing. Depending on how the Pats finish the regular season, that number could even go up.

OAKLAND RAIDERS +1200

The revamped Raiders are now 11-3 and are fresh off clinching their first playoff berth since 2002. Of the four teams we’re looking at today, Oakland has the longest odds to win it all but that shouldn’t deter you from making a wager on the Raiders. Derek Carr has been defying the odds all season long and is looking like he might be one of the five best quarterbacks in the league. The Raiders win the war in the trenches on both sides of the ball and have come away with some very memorable wins this year. If Carr continues to get the protection he has so far, he could do some fun things in the playoffs.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS +550

There’s no reason this team couldn’t win the Super Bowl. Although the Seahawks have been incredibly inconsistent, you’ll remember that they went into Foxborough in Week 10 and put the Patriots on their asses. If they do get a rematch with the Pats in Super Bowl LI, I like the ’Hawks and I especially like their value – relative to New England’s, that is.

DALLAS COWBOYS +500

The Cowboys are the worst 12-2 team ever seen. They’ve had a garbage schedule and have proved they can’t beat the Giants. At this point, a Cowboys-G-Men NFC championship looks somewhat likely and with a 2-0 SU record against their division rivals this year, Dallas has trouble with elite defenses and we’ve never seen Dak Prescott in the playoffs. The pressure hasn’t gotten to the kid all year but the expectations are mounting and the Cowboys are regressing every week.

After winning and covering the spread in nine consecutive games, many were crowning the Cowboys as kings of the NFC. They have, however, compounded that streak by going 0-4 ATS in their last four games as it seems rookie Dak Prescott may be running out of tricks. They were able to stop the momentum of the Bucs on prime time in Week 15 but that game was much closer than it should have been. The boys from Big D opened their Boxing Day matchup with the Lions laying seven points. Sign up at Heritagesports.eu and start betting on NFL playoffs
