The Boston Celtics have won seven of their last nine overall but hit a bit of a speed bump on Wednesday when they had their five-game win streak snapped with a 122-118 loss to the Thunder. Marcus Smart had the hot hand and led the team in scoring with seven threes en route to 25 points while Brandon Bass and Kelly Olynyk added 20 points each, but it still wasn’t enough to get the much needed win. There was just no stopping Russell Westbrook who shot just eight of 26 from the field, but still managed to pour in 36 points thanks to 19 of 22 shooting from the free throw line. With the loss, Boston dropped to 30-37 on the season which leaves them in the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference, tied ninth placed Indiana.
