Le´Veon will stay with Pittsburgh Steelers

After a long dispute between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the player, the future of the team is uncertain with the team. The didn’t reached the extension before training camp, and this will affect the player’s development. The news were reported by a NFL corresponsal.

The problem between the franchise and the player is that he wanted $12.1 million for the season, an amount of money they will never pay. He told that to the press since July. He thinks that´s his value, even though the team doesn’t want to pay him that much. The $12 million is not just the total amount, it includes a $30 million for the first two years of the deal. However, the 25-year-old is seeking for other options on the market. Many newspapers put the player as a complete athlete, as he can run, block, catch, etc. He could seek for more money on the market.

The player has been trying to renew with the team since months ago, but the negotiations has been a waste of time. Without the training camp, the player will arrive to regular season out of training and with possibilities of getting an injury. On August 9th, the Atlanta Falcons payed $41.25 million for Devonta Freeman. Probably a deal like this is what Le’veon is looking for. That sell  was a record not just money talking, it was a five-year deal. Statistically talking, in 12 games he runned 1,884 yards and 9 touchdowns. He talked to the press about how motivated he is to prove next season the quality of player he is.
