Werder Bremen came from behind to beat 10-man Bayer Leverkusen and reach the German Cup semi-finals on Tuesday.

Werder Bremen ran out surprise 3-1 winners over 10-man Bayer Leverkusen in Tuesday’s DFB-Pokal quarter-final.

Levin Oztunali found Pizarro, who was blocked by Jonathan Tah, only for the Bremen midfielder to stab the ball into the empty net despite appearing to be offside.

Hakan Calhanoglu hit the post for Leverkusen in the 89th minute.
