Market in NFL heats up!

Wide Receiver Sammy Watkins got traded from Buffalo Bills to Los Angeles Rams in exchange with E.J Gaines. Three more weeks for the official NFL 2017 to 2018 kickoff and the market is on fire. Teams are taking advantage of the last draft rounds and sounded deals have turned on. The Buffalo Bills refused to take the fifth competition year of the rookie and instead put their eyes on Gaines. Watkins got severely injured last season playing only eight season games. That`s not worthy for a franchise that been struggling to get into the playoffs. Finished the campaign with 28 receptions for 430 yards and only two touchdowns. Low performance for a rookie who got drafted in 2014. On 2015, his stats were a little more proficient registering 60 catches for 1047 yards and 9 touchdowns. In the other hand, Gaines got into NFL in 2014 and has also struggled with many injures. On 2015, he didn’t play at all and last season appeared 10 games of the 11 games played by the team registering 56 tackles and no interceptions. Another interesting topic after this exchange is the fact that the Bills will get a sixth pick for the next draft round.

Buffalo is also dealing with another trade. They announced an exchange with Philadelphia Eagles sending cornerback Ronald Darby for wide receiver Jordan Matthews who will be Watkins replacement. Then, they also signed veteran Anquan Boldin as backing support in a deal of $2.75 millions and is for one season only. Remember that Boldin has 15 seasons already with 36 years old. Will be the exit for Tyrod Taylor`s took off but is not sure enough how much of his body will last on this season, however, everybody knows that his 8 touchdowns from last season with Detroit Lions say a lot about him.
