The Boston Celtics will look for back-to-back wins at home for the first time this season when they entertain the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night

Boston returns home following a brief two-game road swing, which included a 111-101 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday followed by a 121-97 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday

The Celtics follow up their visit from the 76ers with a home date against the Washington Wizards on Friday night, followed by a five-game road swing that starts against the Orlando Magic on Sunday.

The Celtics have lost three of their last four and will be licking their wounds after losing to the Hawks by 121-97 last night in a romp. Avery Bradley led the team with 25 points on 10 of 17 shooting but had little support as Isaiah Thomas scored just 14 points on three of 11 shooting. As a team, the Celtics shot 41.5 percent but their offense was the least of their troubles as they allowed the Hawks to shoot 56.3 percent from the field. The Celtics have really been playing poorly lately, but their hot start to the season means that they are still 7-7 overall and 3-3 on the road.

Meanwhile, the 76ers are still searching for their first win of the season after 15 games. A fast start to their game against the Timberwolves on Monday had Philly fans believing the streak was over, but the 76ers would go on to lose by 100-95 despite 25 points from Jahlil Okafor and 18 points Robert Covington. The Sixers really don’t deserve to be 0-15 on the season because they’ve played hard to earn double digit leads in their last two games but just can’t seem to get over the line.

In ATS trends, the 76ers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games and 1-5 ATS in their last six against the Eastern Conference, while the Celtics are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games following a loss of more than 10 points and 36-15-1 ATS in their last 52 games playing on zero days rest.
