The Lakers are playing their best basketball in months as the NBA schedule enters the final week of the regular season. And after Saturday’s 116-97 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, they finally have something to show for it. Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul pointed twice during a possession late in the third quarter of Tuesday’s victory over the Washington Wizards, directing his teammates where to go. In response, Klay Thompson slowly walked to the left side of the 3-point arc while Jonathan Kuminga quickly came in to set a screen. The Adelson family has had advanced consultations about buying a significant share of the Dallas Mavericks, sources told ESPN. Japan is one victory away from getting back to the Olympics. Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry stated Monday that there is no target date for him to return from his left lower leg injury that has held him out since Feb. 4.
