Jackson 1st MLB HR, Neidert 1st win as Marlins edge Mets 5-4

Newly obtained Alex Jackson hit his first career home run, Nick Neidert earned his first big league victory and the Miami Marlins defeated the NL East-leading New York Mets 5-4 Tuesday night. Isan Díaz also homered, Bryan De La Cruz had three hits and Lewis Brinson had two hits and scored twice for the last-place Marlins, who have won the first two of the four-game series. Travis Shaw’s second stint with the Milwaukee Brewers is off to an encouraging start. The Brewers revealed Tuesday they have added Shaw to their 40-man roster, making him one of the leading candidates for playing time at third base. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady overcame a first-half pick-six and a 17-point deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers  38-31 on Sunday, giving him the fifth-largest comeback in his career.
