Nick Chubb’s uncertain future has prompted the Cleveland Browns to negotiate an adjusted contract with the star running back. Rhys Hoskins carted off field in Phillies game with knee injury

Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins was carted off the field Thursday because of a noncontact injury to his left knee. Hoskins suffered the injury while attempting to field a grounder in the second inning of the Phillies’ spring training match versus the Detroit Tigers. He was examined by team trainers and emergency medical personnel before leaving the field on a cart. The Phillies stated Hoskins will undergo testing on the knee, but they did not announce an official diagnosis for the injury. Magic F Jonathan Isaac to miss at least 2 months with knee injury

The Orlando Magic announced on Thursday that forward Jonathan Isaac will miss at least two months with a knee injury suffered Wednesday versus the Washington Wizards. Isaac attempted to eurostep past Wizards guard Bradley Beal on a drive to the rim, but he landed on Beal’s foot before crumpling to the floor. Isaac was taken off the court on a stretcher and initially diagnosed with a hyperextended left knee before MRI results on Thursday showed that he suffered a severe sprain labeled a “posterior lateral corner injury” and a bone contusion. Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey will miss Sunday’s season finale versus the Arizona Cardinals due to a knee injury. Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed Tuesday that Ramsey has a Grade 2 LCL strain. The Rams were eliminated from the playoff picture in Saturday’s 34-31 loss at San Francisco.
