Team USA got tremendous production up and down its lineup in its Olympic-opening 110-84 victory Sunday over Serbia. George Russell was stripped of his triumph at the Belgian Grand Prix after his Mercedes car was found to be underweight after the chequered flag. Teammate Lewis Hamilton was promoted to first place, securing his second victory of the season after his victory at the British Grand Prix earlier this month. Russell’s car was weighed after the race and found to be at the minimum weight (798 kilograms), but after fuel was drained from the Mercedes, it was found to be 1.5kg underweight. The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar had a day at the plate on Saturday that has happened only three times since 1909. Jose Altuve was hopping mad. He had appeared to foul a ball off his left foot in the seventh inning of Sunday’s match at the New York Mets, with runners on second and third and two outs as the Houston Astros tried to boost their 4-2 lead. The undefeated Tatsuro Taira earned the biggest victory of his UFC career with a second-round stoppage of Alex Perez in the main event of UFC on ESPN 58 at the UFC Apex.
