Marcus Mariota is expected to make his debut as a starting Titan on Friday against the Falcons defense. Wide receivers Kendall Wright and former Falcon Harry Douglas are expected to start for the Titans and with several other players performing during training camp, specifically veteran Hakeem Nicks, both will need to impress coach Ken Whisenhunt.

For the Falcons, Julio Jones and Roddy White are expected to take starting reps against the Titans. QuarterbackMatt Ryan will also be expected to kick his campaign off against the Titans. Atlanta allowed 398.2 yards per game, just over twenty more yards than their pre-season opponent, and also allowed 279.9 passing yards per game, 44 more than their opponent. This unit needs to show some improvement.
