The Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners end their two-game series late Wednesday night. Both of these teams have had tough months, but the Mariners have won three of their last four games. In yesterday’s win they beat the Pirates and moved back above .500. Still they have a lot of ground to gain 11.5 games back of the Texas Rangers in the AL West.
