Formula One owner Liberty Media announces MotoGP takeover

Formula One’s United States-based owner Liberty Media have revealed a takeover of MotoGP’s parent company Dorna, valuing the world’s leading motorcycle racing championship at €4.2 billion ($4.53bn), MotoGP said in a statement on Monday. Pegula, Collins, Stephens move on in Charleston

Top-seeded Jessica Pegula rallied from a set down and defeat fellow American Amanda Anisimova 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3) in a second-round match at the Charleston Open on Tuesday night. Phillies slugger Bryce Harper hits 3 homers for first hits of season

Bryce Harper’s first hit of the season was a big one. Same for his second. And his third. Harper homered in all three of his at-bats for Philadelphia during Tuesday night’s 9-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. The two-time NL MVP went 0 for 11 while playing in three of the Phillies’ first four games. The 31-year-old Harper drove a 1-2 cut fastball from Graham Ashcraft deep to center in the first inning.
