The roulette is a favorite pick of many gamblers in both land-based and online casinos. The spinning wheel is breathtaking, the anxiety is escalating, and the wins are dizzying…but rare. Dedicated fans and experts have established secret strategies to play roulette to maximize their wins (or at least to minimize their losses and not to spoil the gaming fun). Roulette can be somewhat tough to get your mind wrapped around it, so we have listed […]

MLB shortens 2020 draft from 40 to 5 rounds

Major League Baseball will cut its 2020 draft to five rounds, as owners looking to save costs in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic pushed for fewer rounds over the objection of front-office officials, sources told ESPN. The plan, which has been relayed to scouting directors, will let teams to sign an unlimited number of undrafted players for $20,000. The draft is expected to start June 10. An agreement between MLB and the MLB Players Association in March allowed the league to reduce the draft from its typical 40 rounds to as few as five. The agreement allows teams to delay signing […]

Houston Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni turns 69 on Friday, but ESPN’s Tim MacMahon reported D’Antoni “would have no reservations about being on the sideline if the NBA season resumes. Baxter Holmes of ESPN spoke to a pair of NBA general managers who expressed reservations about having older coaches and personnel work during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Based on all the information that we have today, probably people over 60 with preexisting conditions can’t go, for sure, no matter what their titles are,” one GM had stated. “Whether it’s a father of the star player or whether it’s the general manager […]

Gambling superstitions

Gamblers are superstitious; there is no way to evade it. The very nature of being lucky is an inherent quality of players when they win and when they lose they always blame negative outcomes on some external force. The short term variances seen by players in their truncated playing stints sometimes backup their claims, but in the long run a college freshman statistic student would tell you with complete confidence that over the long term these “superstitions” have no bearing on the outcome. The Egyptian themed games like CLEOPATRA by IGT have a space on their reels occupied by a […]

Diodoro caps 52-win Oaklawn meet

Earlier in the Oaklawn Park meet, Robertino Diodoro had become just the fourth trainer in the track’s history to rack up 50 victories there in a single season. The Diodoro barn put an exclamation point on the season during closing Saturday with win No. 52 when Dunph, long ago a stakes winner, struck as a 57.8-1 winner in allowance optional claiming company. In a post-Jason Servis/Jorge Navarro racing world, however, winning at a 22% clip with a longshot first off the claim brings with it a certain level of mistrust. Reflecting on his Oaklawn training title Sunday, Diodoro staked his […]
