Yusei Kikuchi agrees with Mariners

Japanese pitching sensation Yusei Kikuchi is coming to Major League Baseball after reportedly agreeing to a deal with the Seattle Mariners, according to Fancred’s Jon Heyman.  Jon Morosi of MLB Network reported the deal is for four years. The 27-year-old spent his entire career with the Seibu Lions of the Pacific League prior to coming to terms with Seattle. Cav’s Tristan Thompson out 3-4 weeks with calf injury

Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson could be out for a month because of a strained left calf. He was injured in the second quarter of Wednesday night’s loss to Indiana and left Quicken Loans Arena on crutches. Thompson played 14 minutes in last night’s 124-107 loss to the Indiana Pacers, finishing with two points and seven rebounds.
