Veteran left-hander J.A. Happ and the Minnesota Twins have agreed to a one-year deal, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Passan. The deal, which is pending a physical, is worth $8 million, according to multiple reports. Happ, a free agent, will stay in the American League after spending the past two-and-a-half seasons with the New York Yankees. Corey Knebel, Los Angeles Dodgers agree to $5.25 million contract to avoid arbitration

New Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Corey Knebel agreed to a $5.25 million, one-year contract on Thursday that avoided salary arbitration, and pitcher Dylan Floro agreed to $975,000. Knebel, 29, was acquired from Milwaukee on Dec. 2 ahead of the deadline for teams to offer 2021 contracts to unsigned players on their 40-man rosters. He earned $1,898,148 in prorated pay last year from a $5,125,000 salary. Diamondbacks agree on 4 year extension with Nick Ahmed

The Diamondbacks have agreed to a four-year contract extension with shortstop Nick Ahmed, the club informed Monday afternoon. The deal is worth $32.5 million, per Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Kole Calhoun agrees to 2 year deal with Diamondbacks

Former Los Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun agreed to a contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
