Kevin Durant rules himself out for remainder of 2019-20 season

Kevin Durant told ESPN’s The Undefeated on Friday that he will not debut for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2019-20 NBA season after it restarts next month. Durant has not played since he tore his Achilles tendon last June 11 during Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals while playing for the Golden State Warriors versus the Toronto Raptors. Murray to return at ‘Battle of the Brits’ tournament in June

Andy Murray will make his return to tennis at a behind-closed-doors tournament organized by his brother Jamie from June 23-28 in London, the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) said last Friday. Murray, 33, has not competed since the Davis Cup Finals in November due to complications with his hip. He was targeting a return to the tour at the Miami Open in March before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Anyone who has had a pinched nerve in their back knows that pain can linger. That’s where 76ers All-Star Ben Simmons is right now. He has a nerve impingement in his back; something is pressing on the nerve, “pinching” it and causing pain. Stephen Curry is scheduled to return from a more than four-month absence with a broken left hand to play for Golden State versus the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night. Celtics forward Gordon Hayward started Monday night versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and scored 14 points, returning to the Boston lineup ahead of schedule in his return from a broken hand.
