Formula 1: Romain Grosjean crash halts Practice 2

FORMULA 1’s second practice in Malaysia was halted early after a high-speed crash for Romain Grosjean, caused by a loose drain cover. The Haas driver was on a flying lap with just over 20 minutes left in the session when he turned into the fast Turn 13 at the Sepang circuit, hitting the loose drain cover with his right rear wheel. The impact instantly punctured the tyre, sending Grosjean spinning into the barriers. Louisville has placed coach Rick Pitino and athletic director Tom Jurich on administrative leave amid a federal bribery investigation. Interim university President Greg Postel said at a news conference Wednesday that Jurich is on paid leave, while Pitino is on unpaid leave.
