Former Tennessee Titans guard Quinton Spain has agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, the team announced Wednesday. Spain becomes the sixth offensive lineman added by the Bills in free agency, joining Spencer Long, Mitch Morse, Ty Nsekhe, Jon Feliciano and LaAdrian Waddle. Between these six lineman, the Bills have added 317 career games, 196 career starts and $39.05 million guaranteed (no including Spain). There is a strong possibility the Bills will have four new starters on their offensive line next season with the draft still to come. The New York Yankees placed outfielder Giancarlo Stanton on the 10-day injured list with a left biceps strain. In a corresponding move Monday, the team recalled outfielder Clint Frazier from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Yankees haven’t given any indication of how Stanton suffered the injury or how much time he could miss. He’s the third Yankees outfielder to go on the injured list this young season, joining Aaron Hicks (lower back) and Jacoby Ellsbury (hip/plantar fasciitis). Cleveland shortstop Francisco Lindor is out indefinitely with an acute ankle sprain. The team announced the news Wednesday. Lindor has emerged as one of the best players in baseball. He hit .277 in 2018 while setting career-highs in homers (38), RBI (92), runs (129), stolen bases (25) and OPS (.871). He had a WAR of 7.9, per Baseball-Reference, while playing in his third All-Star Game and winning his second Silver Slugger at shortstop. He was also a Gold Glove winner in 2016. Barcelona are in the market for a new attacker after losing faith in Luis Suarez and have placed Marcus Rashford on a three-man shortlist to replace him. Suarez has scored 18 goals in 27 La Liga games for the Catalan giants this season but has failed to strike in six appearances in the Champions League. Shortly after the end of the season, there was a rumor Pittsburgh Steelers safety Morgan Burnett was planning to ask for his release. Now, according to NFL reporter Adam Schefter, Brunett is getting his wish. Schefter is reporting, per Burnett’s agent the team will give him his release by April 1. The Burnett signing last offseason seemed like a great fit. However, Burnett battled injuries for much of the season and when he was healthy was miscast as a dime linebacker.
