Kevin Durant rules himself out for remainder of 2019-20 season

Kevin Durant told ESPN’s The Undefeated on Friday that he will not debut for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2019-20 NBA season after it restarts next month. Durant has not played since he tore his Achilles tendon last June 11 during Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals while playing for the Golden State Warriors versus the Toronto Raptors. Warriors Kevon Looney has core muscle surgery, expected back next season

Warriors center Kevon Looney underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a core muscle injury and is expected to be ready for the start of next season, the team stated. Looney, 24, missed 45 games this season with various injuries, including a hamstring strain, a neuropathic condition and, most recently, an abdominal strain that led to the surgery, performed in Philadelphia. Jazz’s Bojan Bogdanovic to undergo season-ending wrist surgery

Marc Eversley joining Bulls’ reshaped front office as GM

The Chicago Bulls have made the next step in building their new front office, reportedly agreeing to name Marc Eversley as the team’s new general manager, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported. Florida State freshman Patrick Williams is joining the ranks of college basketball’s one-and-dones. The Seminoles forward informed Thursday that he is entering the 2020 NBA draft.
