Gordon Hayward tied a career high with 39 points, making all 16 of his 2-point attempts, and the Boston Celtics won their fifth straight game by holding off the Cleveland Cavaliers 119-113 on Tuesday night. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry left Wednesday’s game versus the Phoenix Suns after an ugly fall. The Warriors later stated that he suffered a broken left hand. Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis experienced a sprained thumb in the team’s preseason game in China versus the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
