Josh Warrington enters this fight with a 23-0 record that includes four knockouts. This will be Warrington’s fifth fight sine 2015, and he’s coming off a April win over Hisashi Amagasa. Warrington has become a star in the UK at just 25 years old, and he’ll be defending his belt for the third straight fight. Warrington is coming off the biggest win of his career and hopes to stay busy before eventually taking on Lee Shelby. Warrington has quick hands and is solid defensively. The only real issue with Warrington is his obvious lack of power, which forces him to impress the judges and put on a show. Warrington has fought most of his career in the United Kingdom, his birthplace.

Patrick Hyland enters this fight with a 31-2 record that includes 15 knockouts. Hyland has won six of his last eight fights and is coming off a April loss to Gary Russell Jr. Hyland is always a threat due to his experience and the sneaky power he has in both hands. Hyland has won four of his last six fights by knockout and that could be the recipe for an upset against a boxer with little to zero pop. Hyland has also never lost a fight outside of the United States. The concern with Hyland remains the same, as his resume isn’t that great, and his only two losses have come against the best boxers he’s faced. This will be Hyland’s fifth fight in the United Kingdom.
