Monday Night will see week 11 of NFL conclude with a match between the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders. The game will be played at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, where elevation could be a factor in the contest.

Both teams lead their respective divisions with the Raiders coming back from their bye week on a three-game winning streak.

Houston leads the AFC South despite being dead last in the NFL in total offense. Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler is last in the NFL in yards per passing attempt and is only completing 58% percent of his passes.

The Texans do boast a top-five defense in terms of yardage allowed, but they rank in the bottom third of the league in interceptions and sacks.

A game between the Raiders and Texans doesn’t just pit two winning teams against each other, it features two teams that enter Week 11 at the top spots in their divisions. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the game includes two good teams.

The Texans are 6-3, but don’t have an adequate quarterback, they’re missing their best player (J.J. Watt), they have a -27 point differential, and they’ve capitalized on their schedule by barely beating awful teams like the Jaguars, Colts, and Bears. Still, the Texans are in first place of the AFC South and are on track to make another trip to the postseason.

But those postseason plans will hit a snag Monday night, because the Raiders will be there to meet them on the field.

The Raiders are listed as the six-point favorite with a 46-point total. An Oakland cover pays -115, while a Houston cover pays -105.

Houston, which leads the AFC South division standings, is 6-3 SU and 5-3-1 against the spread. It is fair to say that QB Brock Osweiler has not lived up to expectations after landing a big free-agent deal, even though the Texans have surrounded him with adequate protection and a decent rushing attack built around RB Lamar Miller.

Osweiler’s issues with indecision could lead to a sack or two for Raiders DE Khalil Mark and a couple takeaways by a defense which gives up yards, but is also opportunistic.

The AFC West-leading Raiders, who are 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS on the season, are maturing into a well-rounded offense. They will be challenged in the passing phase, since Carr’s favorite targets, WR Michael Crabtree and WR Amari Cooper, have tough matchups against Texans CB Kareem Jackson and Johnathan Joseph.

The total has gone over in three of the Texans’ last four games against the Raiders. The total has gone over in seven of the Raiders’ last nine games. Make your predictions and get huge cash on Monday night football, get the best lines at HeritageSports.eu
