Boston Celtics has announced that Paul Pierce will have his shirt retired next February 11th when Celtics play against the Cavs in a shining ceremony for a player who deserves a great goodbye party. On July he officially declared his retirement from a 19 year career who also played for Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers. He recently stated:“It’s an honor to have this opportunity to once again call myself a Boston Celtic. The organization and city took me in and made me one of their own, and I couldn’t imagine ending my career any other way. I’m a Celtic for life.”

So interesting that he was set as the 10th overall pick from 1998 NBA draft and led the Boston Celtics for his only championship since 1986 in 2008.
