Manchester United reported the possible return of Ibrahimovic

On Wednesday, Manchester United have said that the contract with Zlatan Ibrahimovic could get again in the loop of the team. The player will possible return to the club after he left in the summer. The player was released because of an injury but he continued his rehabilitation at United’s Carrington training complex, so he never took off and has been always smelling red all this time. The Red Devils signed the 35-year-old player for a year deal and scored 28 goals in 46 appearances, in which 17 were in the Premier League. However, in April he got injured in a UEFA Europa League clash with Anderlecht, suffering a cruciate ligament injury. After that, the team decided to put on hold his contract by a season.

The player had played with the Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan and Barcelona and now has been getting the attention of Atletico Madrid and LA Galaxy. So is no surprise many teams would want the player back on their rotation. However, the deals haven’t been struck for Ibrahimovic to join a new club, as few clubs would be willing to call a 35-year-old forward with a such serious injury. Ibrahimovic played a ruge role for Mourinho’s United last season.

The player talked to the press about his dedication and his preference to rejoin United, but he still needs to be in a perfect condition for the team. Even though he won’t be the No. 1 striker this summer since Romelu Lukaku already got signed. At the end, it would be no surprise to see Ibrahimovic pull on a United shirt again in the next season.
